Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. A valid driver’s licence and previous delivery experience are essential, along with strong communication skills and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting.

Duties

• Safely operate company Vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
• Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
• Confirm delivery details with customers upon arrival, providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver .
• Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle type, including a clean driving record.
• Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy loads is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing.
• Organised with good time management skills to meet tight schedules.
• Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools is preferred but not essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are priorities.
