Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team delivering eco-friendly coffins to funeral directors, crematoriums, cemeteries, and other locations across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing a respectful, dependable service and enjoys being on the road.

The position is based on a 3-day working week, with 10-11 hour shifts, . Due to the nationwide nature of deliveries, occasional overnight stays may be required, with accommodation and expenses provided where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van to deliver eco-friendly coffins to customers across designated routes.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery schedules to ensure timely and professional service.
• Load, secure, and unload products carefully, maintaining their condition throughout transit.
• Provide a courteous and respectful service when delivering to funeral directors, crematoriums, cemeteries, and related organisations.
• Obtain proof of delivery and complete all required documentation accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the operations team regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
• Adhere to all road traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Complete occasional overnight stays when required to support longer-distance delivery routes.
• Assist with warehouse duties, stock organisation, and vehicle loading when necessary.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with a clean or near-clean driving record.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Comfortable driving long distances and managing multiple deliveries.
• Loading and unloading products safely.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, respectful, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and represent the company positively.
• Flexibility to undertake occasional overnight stays.
