Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods/Parcels efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Duties

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to complete multiple drop-offs across various locations within scheduled timeframes.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption.
• Confirm deliveries with customers, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and any issues encountered.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during all driving activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
• Valid minimum 2 Years Driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, with physical stamina for prolonged periods of driving and manual handling tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of local roads and navigation skills are preferred but not essential.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience at dpd, Amazon, or DHL.

Pay: £600.00-£750.00 per week
