Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Job Summary

Zamoung Transport Ltd is recruiting reliable and customer-focused Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely, accurately, and on time to customers across planned delivery routes.

As a Professional Van/Drivery Driver, you will provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety. You will load and deliver parcels using a company van, follow planned routes efficiently, and use a handheld device to manage deliveries. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, and delivering a reliable service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Deliver parcels and goods to multiple customers across various locations within scheduled timeframes.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, ensuring safe driving practices and proper handling of goods.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Must be aged 25 or over and have held a driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop routes.
• Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating responsibility and reliability in completing deliveries on time.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience at dpd, Amazon, or DHL.

Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
