Octopus Logistics Limited is looking for reliable and motivated self-employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers / Couriers to join our growing team covering Teesside and the surrounding area.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the move, working independently and providing a high standard of service.

The role

As a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently within your designated delivery area.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Completing multiple parcel deliveries and collections
• Loading and organising parcels into your vehicle
• Following an efficient delivery route
• Checking addresses and delivery instructions
• Taking accurate delivery photographs where required
• Obtaining signatures where required
• Using the delivery app to complete and record deliveries
• Communicating professionally with customers
• Keeping customers informed through the app where appropriate
• Handling parcels carefully and responsibly
• Following road traffic laws and safe working practices
• Carrying out basic safety checks on your vehicle

What you’ll need

• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Your own suitable vehicle
• Smartphone with a camera
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good timekeeping and organisational skills
• Confidence using GPS/navigation and smartphone apps

Previous multi-drop or delivery experience is preferred but not essential.

If you haven’t worked in parcel delivery before, full training will be provided.
