Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to navigate routes effectively while adhering to all traffic regulations.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, ensuring the secure transport of goods.
• Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as necessary while maintaining safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow designated routes while being adaptable to changes as required by traffic or customer needs.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is advantageous.
• Strong navigation skills, with the ability to use GPS systems effectively for route planning.
• A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type is essential.

Pay: £15.00-£35.00 per hour
