Diamond Logistics provides same-day, next-day and wider delivery solutions through a nationwide network of service centres. In this hands-on role, you will complete planned multi-drop routes, keep customers updated, handle parcels with care and represent the Diamond standard on every delivery.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated, dependable driver who enjoys being out on the road, working independently and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-moving logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van to complete multi-drop collections and deliveries across London and surrounding areas.
• Load, secure and unload parcels correctly, ensuring all goods are handled carefully.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while managing your time effectively throughout the day.
• Complete same-day, scheduled and business-to-business deliveries in a professional manner.
• Use delivery technology and proof-of-delivery systems accurately.
• Communicate clearly with the dispatch team regarding collections, delivery updates, delays or access issues.
• Provide a polite, helpful and professional service to customers at every delivery point.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults, damage or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, route records and parcel documentation.
• Support warehouse and depot activity when required, including scanning, sorting, moving stock and preparing consignments for dispatch.
• Follow all company procedures, road-safety requirements and manual-handling guidance.

Requirements

• A valid full UK driving licence suitable for driving a van.
• Previous multi-drop, courier, delivery-driver, logistics or commercial-driving experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of London roads, traffic conditions and route planning.
• Confident using navigation, delivery apps and proof-of-delivery technology.
• Strong time-management skills, with the ability to work to delivery deadlines.
• A professional, customer-focused attitude and clear communication skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable with loading, unloading and manual handling.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently while staying connected with the wider dispatch team.
• A strong understanding of safe driving, vehicle care and parcel-handling standards.
