Multi-Site Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our 4 businesses located next to each other in the U st. area.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment. Looking for a "Jack of all trades" type of attitude, and a willingness to learn!

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Conduct painting as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
• Preform preventative planned, and unexpected maintenance for the businesses
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
• Collaborate with manager and technical director to ensure facilities are maintained to high standards.
• Lead small teams on specific projects or repairs when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and manage other trades/technicians for projects or work outside of normal repairs
• Ordering replacement parts, supplies as needed

Requirements

• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, including troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in painting , drywall patching
• Ability to read schematics and perform diagnostics using tools like an ohmmeter.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, Spanish also preferred
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies as needs change.

• Experience with structured cabling/networking (cat6, patch panels, terminating ethernet, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
