Multi-Site Restaurant Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable, experienced Multi-Site Restaurant Facilities Maintenance Technician to support multiple restaurant locations across the Phoenix metro area. This hands-on field role keeps our restaurants safe, functional, clean, and guest-ready through responsive repairs, preventive maintenance, and clear communication with restaurant leadership.

You will focus on general restaurant maintenance working. This is an excellent role for an organized self-starter who is comfortable traveling between locations, solving problems independently, and working in active restaurant environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the Valley to complete maintenance and repair work at assigned restaurant locations.
• Diagnose and repair general building and restaurant-facility issues, including plumbing fixtures, toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, doors, locks, closers, windows, lighting, outlets, switches, ceiling tiles, drywall, paint, flooring, and minor carpentry.
• Maintain dining rooms, restrooms, kitchens, drive-thru areas, exterior fixtures, signage, furniture, and other guest-facing areas.
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and prioritize work based on safety, operational impact, and guest experience.
• Perform scheduled preventive-maintenance inspections and identify repairs before they become larger issues.
• Document work completed, materials used, repair status, and recommended next steps in the company work-order system.
• Communicate clearly with restaurant managers and company leadership regarding repair progress, access needs, and follow-up items.
• Coordinate with approved outside vendors for licensed, specialized, or larger-scale repairs.
• Maintain company tools, supplies, parts, vehicle, keys, and access information responsibly.
• Follow all workplace-safety procedures and maintain a professional presence in active restaurants.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial facilities, restaurant maintenance, retail maintenance, property maintenance, or comparable handyman experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, painting, drywall, doors/locks, flooring, and general building repair.
• Restaurant or multi-site commercial maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to independently diagnose issues, make sound repair decisions, and recognize when specialized vendors are required.
• Experience using a mobile phone, email, and work-order or maintenance-tracking applications.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation suitable for Valley-wide travel; company vehicle or vehicle allowance may be available.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use ladders, and perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend urgent repairs as part of an on-call rotation.
