Multi Skilled Engineer

Some engineering roles have you working on the same machinery every day. This isn't one of them.

What you'll need

• NVQ Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent
• Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance activities
• Knowledge of automated production, process or packaging equipment would be advantageous
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Understanding of safe working practices within a production environment

What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

• Fault-finding and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns across a fast-paced manufacturing operation
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise reliability and minimise downtime
• Working on a variety of equipment including conveyors, processing machinery, weighers, bagging equipment and automated production lines
• Supporting production teams to keep operations running safely and efficiently
• Using the CMMS to record maintenance activities and equipment history
• Identifying recurring faults and helping implement long-term engineering solutions
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that drive performance across the site
