Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Huddersfield based, covering North, East and West Yorkshire

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Skilled Labourer to join our growing team. This is a varied role involving work on domestic and renewable energy projects across Yorkshire.

You will be based from our Huddersfield office and travel to sites throughout North, East and West Yorkshire. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills. The successful candidate will work closely with our installation teams and play an important role in delivering high-quality work for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coring and drilling works for extractor fan installations.
• Construction of small concrete bases for Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar PV equipment.
• General labouring duties on domestic properties.
• Carrying out minor property repairs and maintenance.
• Assisting installation teams with various retrofit and renewable energy projects.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety.
• Working effectively as part of a team and supporting colleagues where required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a skilled labouring, construction or handyman role.
• Experience using power tools and construction equipment safely.
• Good practical skills and the ability to solve problems on site.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Training & Development

While previous experience is advantageous, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. Attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are essential. Opportunities for further training and career progression will be available.
