This global automotive manufacturer is looking to recruit a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a 3-shift operation, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and supporting continuous improvement activities throughout the plant. The role will involve fault finding and repair on a range of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems within a highly automated manufacturing environment. Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer requirements

• Time-served Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship
• Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer position
• Strong fault-finding ability across electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Preventative and corrective maintenance experience
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement experience
• Knowledge of health & safety and 5S principles
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Desirable experience

• Automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier experience
• Siemens PLC fault finding
• ABB Robotics
• Hydraulic presses
• Conveyors and automated production equipment
• Furnaces, burners or casting equipment
• HNC/HND qualification
