Our new Coventry facility is Eurofit’s first UK operation. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at an early stage, help establish a reliable maintenance function and play a key part in the performance of a modern automotive manufacturing site.

About the role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will help maximise the availability, reliability and performance of our automated tyre-wheel assembly equipment. You will complete planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and work closely with production and quality colleagues to keep the operation safe, efficient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining production machinery and maximise line availability through effective fault-finding, repairs and planned preventive maintenance.
• Responding promptly to equipment and process issues, diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and programming faults.
• Analysing machine capacity and performance, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and output.
• Supporting the preparation of machinery for certification, quality reviews and audits.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance, inspection and repair records.
• Training and supporting operators in routine and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintaining and administering the spare-parts stockroom, helping to ensure that critical parts are available when required.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects across the assembly line.
• Caring for company equipment and assets, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation.
• Following all health and safety, environmental, quality and management-system procedures.
• Stopping production where necessary to address an immediate safety, quality or maintenance concern.

About you

You will be a practical, safety-focused maintenance professional who enjoys solving technical problems and improving production equipment. You should be able to work calmly under pressure, take ownership of issues and communicate effectively with colleagues across operations and quality.

We are looking for:

• Hands-on maintenance experience gained in a manufacturing, engineering or production environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience of planned preventive maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
• An understanding of automated or PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• The ability to record maintenance activity accurately and work to safety and quality procedures.
• A collaborative approach and a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience in automotive manufacturing, tyre-wheel assembly, robotics or highly automated production would be advantageous.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
