• Practical skills across multiple trades, including plumbing, joinery, tiling, decorating and minor plastering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and a professional, respectful approach when working in tenants’ homes.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join our growing team, carrying out repairs, maintenance and installation work in both occupied and vacant social housing properties across Liverpool, Wigan and Cheshire.

You’ll use your skills across a range of trades to complete work efficiently, safely and to a high standard, while maintaining a professional approach in tenants’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general property maintenance, repairs and refurbishment work.
• Complete first and second fix plumbing.
• Undertake joinery, including kitchen installations, door hanging, skirting boards and stud walls.
• Carry out wall and floor tiling.
• Complete painting and decorating.
• Undertake patch plastering and minor plastering repairs.
• Install and refurbish bathrooms and wet rooms.
• Install Polyflor and lino flooring.
• Ensure all work meets required quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, clients and colleagues, keeping them informed as required.
