MULTI-SKILLED PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

BAM Mix Concrete Manufacturing L.L.C. is looking for a Multi-Skilled Plant Maintenance Technician who can independently handle electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance work for our ready-mix concrete plant, machinery, vehicles, and equipment.

We are looking for one skilled person who can work as an Electrician, Mechanic, and Technician and troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of the ready-mix batching plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, sensors, cables, contactors, relays, and switches.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns in motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, and other equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot truck mixers, concrete pumps, generators, and other machinery where required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspection of plant and equipment.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
• Carry out electrical wiring, connections, installations, and repairs.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair work when required.
• Identify the root cause of equipment failures and recommend corrective action.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts used.
• Coordinate with plant and operations teams to ensure equipment remains operational.
• Follow all company HSE and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plant Technician, Industrial Electrician, Mechanical Technician, or Maintenance Technician.
• Strong hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with ready-mix concrete plants, batching plants, construction machinery, or heavy equipment is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems independently.
• Good knowledge of motors, pumps, control panels, sensors, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification is an advantage.
