Multi Skilled Plant Operator

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Operators for multiple ongoing civil construction projects across Melbourne. We are looking for operators with experience across a range of plant and machinery, including excavators, Moxy/Dump Trucks, loaders, skid steers, rollers and other civil plant. Key Responsibilities

• Operate a range of civil plant and machinery safely and efficiently
• Operate excavators, Moxy/Dump Trucks, loaders, skid steers, rollers and other plant as required
• Complete bulk earthworks, excavation, trenching and site preparation
• Load, move and distribute materials around site
• Assist with drainage, sewer, water and other civil infrastructure works
• Carry out detailed excavation and general earthworks where experienced
• Conduct daily plant checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements
• Work alongside civil labourers, supervisors and other operators
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist with general civil construction duties when required

Requirements

• Previous experience operating civil plant and machinery
• Multi-skilled operators with experience across multiple machines highly regarded
• White Card (essential)
• Relevant plant tickets/licences where required
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport (essential)
• Strong understanding of civil construction and site safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment
