About the role

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician to join our operations team in BFC. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining and servicing our property facilities and infrastructure. As a Multi Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades, ensuring that our properties operate efficiently and safely. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of facility management and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance and preventive care on building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components
2. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot technical issues across different trades and systems
3. Conduct regular inspections of property facilities and infrastructure to identify potential problems before they escalate
4. Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, fixtures, and building components
5. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work completed, including parts used and time spent on each task
6. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
7. Support the facilities management team in ensuring properties meet operational standards and client expectations
8. Collaborate with other team members and external contractors when specialised work is required

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or in a similar maintenance role within the trades and services industry
2. Competency across multiple trade areas, such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance
3. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to maintenance and construction work
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance schedules
6. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively
7. A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
8. Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
9. Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades (preferred but not essential)
10. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with team members and clients
