About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Technician to join our team at Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to work across multiple technical disciplines in a dynamic facilities management environment. As a Multi Skilled Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining the operational excellence and safety standards of one of the region's premier shopping destinations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that building systems, infrastructure, and facilities operate at peak performance at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to operations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical faults across multiple building systems and equipment
• Carry out repairs and installations of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components as required
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation of all work completed
• Collaborate with other technicians and facilities management teams to ensure coordinated maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of mechanical rooms and equipment areas
• Assist in training junior staff members on maintenance procedures and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or similar role in facilities management, preferably in a commercial or retail environment
• Demonstrated competency in at least three of the following disciplines: HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical systems, or carpentry
• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
• Valid electrical, plumbing, or mechanical certifications or licences as applicable to your expertise
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights safely when required
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks throughout the day
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
