Multi Skilled Technician

Position Title: Multi Skill Technician (HVAC, ELECTRICAL & PLUMING)

Location: Vadapalani, Chennai

Experience: 4 to 8 Years experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair heating and air conditioning systems, Pluming & electrical systems.

• Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas including heating, refrigeration, motors, fire alarms and generator equipment work involves technical application of electrical.

• Install, test, inspect, maintain, service and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, wiring, specialized electrical equipment and machinery

• Operate power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment.

• Construct and maintain service equipment

• Read electrical circuit diagrams.

• Requisition materials and supplies from stock room, call vendors to discuss needs for parts and supplies and recommend purchases and suppliers.

• Transfer primary power from one power source to another.

• Install conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hookup for primary power lines.

• Set poles, string overhead lines and do overhead line maintenance.

• Lay underground conduit for electrical lines and install low voltage electric lines and conduit for telephone systems.

• Reassemble equipment and starts unit to test operation.

• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe or tubing, using pipefitter's tools.

• Cut and drill holes in floors, walls, and roof to install equipment, using power saws and drills.

• Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment according to wiring diagram, using electrician's hand tools.

• Wrap pipes in insulation and secures it in place with cement or wire bands.

• Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers, using hand tools.

• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.

• Join pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source, to form complete circuit.

• Fabricate, assemble, and install duct work and chassis parts, using portable metal-working tools and welding equipment.

• Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.

Qualifications:

• DME & ITI (Industrial Trade Institute) certificate

• Preferably a technical vocational graduate

• With at least 4 years work experience in property management industry

• Sound interpersonal skills to manage diverse range of client representatives.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis

• Ability to troubleshoot related systems

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
