Multi Skilled Trades Person

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Multi Skilled Trades Person to join our growing team based in Blackpool. The successful candidate will support our various contracts across the Blackpool area and should have a strong focus on Plastering and Tiling.

This role is ideal for an individual with previous experience and basic plastering and tiling skills who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Bonding and skimming of chases following rewire works.
• Tiling walls following kitchen and bathroom rewire works.
• Carrying out general labouring duties on void properties, including stripping of wallpaper.
• Completing basic joinery tasks including removing existing kitchen wall units and putting them back.
• Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment.
• Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas.
• Collecting and delivering materials as required.
• Reporting defects, issues and material requirements to supervisors.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in the role.
• Basic joinery, plastering and tiling skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and professional manner.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working within social housing, maintenance or property repairs.
• Experience using a range of hand and power tools.
• Ability to complete basic paperwork.
