Multi Skilled Tutor

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Multi-Skilled Construction Tutor to join our team at Skills People Group. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality construction training to adult learners, supporting them in developing practical skills, industry knowledge and confidence to progress into employment.

The role involves delivering Level 1 and Level 2 construction programmes, specialising in trades such as Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Plastering & Dry Lining or Groundworks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom-based and practical construction training.
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support learners with completing their OneFile e-portfolios.
• Maintain accurate learner records and course documentation.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and Experience

• Relevant industry experience in Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Plastering & Dry Lining or Groundworks.
• Minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
• Assessor qualification.
• Level 3 occupational competence within the construction industry.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience delivering training to diverse learner groups.

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
