Multi-Store Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Dual Store Manager to join our dynamic retail team. Duties

• Assist in overseeing daily store operations across both locations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of staff to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team
• Manage inventory levels through stock control, merchandising, and purchasing to optimize sales opportunities
• Supervise sales floor activities, including cashiering, customer service, and product knowledge dissemination
• Coordinate shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance to meet sales targets
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
• Support payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
• Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, inventory management, and reporting purposes
• Assist in budgeting, pricing strategies, and sales management initiatives to maximize profitability
• Implement operational improvements related to merchandising, stock replenishment, and store presentation
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies across both stores

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with a track record of leading successful sales teams
• Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred
• Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies, sales analysis, and budgeting
• Experience with operational management tasks including cash handling, payroll processing, and inventory control
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive work environment
• Familiarity with retail product knowledge and merchandising techniques

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
