Multi Trade Operative

A Fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known building maintenance and refurbishment contractor Arrow Services. We are currently looking for a multi skilled engineer to join our team in the Midlands area including Coventry and Northampton.

The role will be to carry out reactive and planned maintenance across the Midlands

MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER – FULL TIME

Arrow Services are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy and growing building maintenance team.

We are looking for someone with a strong general building maintenance background who is confident carrying out a variety of repairs and remedial works across our client sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Plastering and making good
• Joinery and carpentry
• Groundworks
• Plumbing and general plumbing repairs
• General building and property maintenance
• Reactive repairs and fault finding
• Basic decorating and finishing works
• Altro flooring installation/repairs would be an advantage

The role will include:

• Attending reactive and planned maintenance jobs
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Carrying out multi-trade works from start to finish
• Identifying materials and any additional works required
• Completing job sheets with clear descriptions and photographs
• Liaising professionally with clients, site managers and our office team
• Working independently across a variety of commercial and residential properties
• Participating in the out-of-hours/on-call rota when required

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience within building/property maintenance
• Competence across several trades, particularly plastering, joinery, groundworks and plumbing
• Good fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable and able to represent Arrow Services to a high standard
• Altro flooring experience is desirable but not essential
