Multi Trader

City Gate Construction (CGC) is establishing itself as an industry leader. Founded in 2003, we are a privately owned Construction, Refurbishment, and Maintenance main contractor with offices in Scotland and England.

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join our planned maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair tasks across properties in Renfrewshire and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out minor joinery works.
• Performing minor plumbing tasks.
• Completing small painting and decorating jobs to maintain internal and external finishes.
• Undertaking basic tiling repairs and replacements.
• Carrying out minor plaster repairs as required.
• Working independently and as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Keeping clear records of materials used and tasks completed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar multi-trade role.
• Broad skill set across joinery, plumbing, painting, plastering and general building maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
• A background in tenanted or void property maintenance is desirable.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
