Multi‑Axis CNC Programmer/Machinist

Your day at Kyron Tool & Machine Co., Inc.

Step onto the floor of our 30,000+ sq. ft. Columbus, Ohio facility and you’ll move between three large 4‑axis horizontal machining centers, two vertical machining centers, a precision boring mill, and an array of 4‑ and 5‑axis lathes. You’ll translate customer drawings or CAD models into efficient programs, set up machines, make on-the-fly edits, and run parts to exacting specifications—then verify every feature with advanced inspection techniques.

What you’ll do

• Program, set up, edit, and machine complex parts directly from customer prints or CAD files.
• Interpret detailed blueprints and specifications to ensure tight tolerances and superior finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; perform and coordinate maintenance repairs as needed.
• Foster teamwork and clear communication; provide hands-on leadership across departments.
• Take on responsibilities aligned to your background—3+ years of machining experience is preferred.
