Multimedia Design Associate (Freelance)

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Multimedia Design Associate with hands-on experience in video asset creation and short-form visual content.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating raw podcast video recordings and brand campaign briefs into eye-catching short-form video reels, promotional graphics, episode covers, and motion graphics. You will work closely with our Production, Social Media Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure our show visuals and commercial brand integrations stand out across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Asset Editing & Short-Form Content: Cut, edit, and optimize engaging short-form video reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and show highlights from raw video/audio recordings.
• Graphic & Visual Asset Design: Design brand-compliant show covers, episode thumbnails, social media key visuals, promotional banners, and client presentation assets.
• Motion Graphics & Dynamic Elements: Add animated captions, lower thirds, title cards, sound effects, and motion graphics to elevate video engagement and visual quality.
• Brand & Campaign Alignment: Ensure all visual and video deliverables meet network aesthetic standards, creator branding, and commercial sponsor brief requirements.
• Asset Library Management: Organize and maintain digital asset folders, raw footage archives, project files, and reusable motion graphics templates.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production Officers and Social Media Managers to deliver high-performing content assets on schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design (experience with digital media agencies, content creation networks, or post-production houses is a strong plus).
• Portfolio Required: Must present a strong portfolio showcasing short-form video edits (Reels/TikToks with motion captions), visual graphic designs, and digital marketing assets.
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva. Experience with CapCut Pro or AI video tools is a bonus.
• Visual Storytelling: Strong grasp of visual pacing, typography, color grading, audio leveling, and social media video trends.
• Mindset: Highly organized, open to feedback, capable of managing tight multi-show deadlines, and passionate about pop culture and podcasting.
