About DL6 Sports

DL6 Sports is a youth sports and entertainment destination focused on creating better experiences for athletes and their families. The campus brings training, competition, development and community together in one facility: basketball and performance training, teams and leagues, tournaments, an arcade, onsite food service, and multiple specialized sports spaces. Athletes have access to a five-court gym, indoor turf, batting cages and dedicated training areas that support both skill development and memorable game-day experiences. Guided by coaches and trainers with collegiate, professional and NBA backgrounds, DL6 emphasizes purposeful training, meaningful competition and strong mentorship. DL6 is designed as a place where athletes of all levels can train, compete, connect, celebrate and belong.

The role

We're looking for a designer and visual storyteller who studies modern sports design. You know the graphics, motion and athlete-first content that the best teams, leagues and sports brands are putting out, and you want to bring that standard to youth sports. You'll shape how DL6 looks and feels everywhere families see us: on their phones, on our website, and on the walls when they walk into our campus.

What you'll do

• Concept and design social graphics for programs, events, schedules, results, athlete spotlights and promotions
• Build event and tournament graphics that make game days feel big
• Film and edit short-form video that captures athlete experiences and campus energy
• Design print materials, in-facility signage, sponsor deliverables and promotional pieces
• Create web and email assets and campaign creative, including social posts/ads
• Find the stories behind our athletes, coaches and families and turn them into content people want to share
• Help plan the content calendar and adapt assets for each platform
• Protect and evolve the DL6 visual identity so everything looks consistent and on-brand
• Work closely with marketing, media, coaching staff and operations

Schedule

• Hybrid, 25 hours per week
• Core hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–2pm
• On-site at our Piedmont campus as requested
• Occasional weekend or evening event attendance (up to 3 hours), offset during the same week
• Hours tracked each week, with a brief weekly recap of completed and upcoming work
• This is a daytime role. We need you available and responsive during core hours, and DL6 should be your priority during that time.

You might be a fit if you

• Have a portfolio that shows strong graphic design and sports or lifestyle content
• Are skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro; After Effects is a plus)
• Have a real eye for typography, color, layout and motion, and can explain your design choices
• Can shoot and edit short-form video for social media
• Are comfortable supporting web content
• Stay organized and deliver on time in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Communicate well with coaches, staff, families and partners
• Care about youth-centered values and representing young athletes
• Have relevant education or equivalent professional experience in multimedia design, graphic design, communications or a related field
