Role Descriptions:

York Club Fitness is seeking dedicated professionals for multiple, on-site roles with an entrepreneurial spirit who are interested in: Client Services, Membership Sales, Personal Training, Group Fitness Instructors, and Maintenance.

Responsibilities will vary by role but may include delivering exceptional customer service, leading group fitness sessions, providing personal training, maintaining facilities, and assisting with wellness services. Team members will contribute to creating a welcoming, luxury gym experience focused on health and wellness for all clients. All employees must be able to physically stand for several hours and lift up to 50lbs.

Client Services:

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality or fitness operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills without the use of A.I.
• Ability to answer all club questions confidently including membership inquiries and policies.
• Give gym tours and hand qualified leads to the Membership Sales team.
• Basic proficiency with scheduling software, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google.
• Must be willing to work a minimum of 20 hours a week including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or wellness environments
• Background in membership sales, inside sales, or customer success
• Familiarity with lead management systems (e.g., Mindbody, Zen Planner, Salesforce, HubSpot)

Social media engagement or community marketing experience

Membership Sales:

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or fitness operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills without the use of A.I.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales or performance targets
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
• Comfort working in a performance-based, commission-driven environment
• Basic proficiency with CRM, scheduling software, or POS systems
• Must be willing to work full time including, nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or wellness environments
• Background in membership sales, inside sales, or customer success
• Familiarity with lead management systems (e.g., Mindbody, Zen Planner, Salesforce, HubSpot)

Social media engagement or community marketing experience

Group Fitness Instructors/ Personal Trainers:

Required Qualifications

• Current fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience teaching group fitness classes preferred
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Ability to motivate and manage groups in a high-energy environment
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable availability, punctuality, and professional demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in boutique or studio-based fitness environments
• Specialty certifications (HIIT, Strength, Pilates, Mobility, Athletic Training, or Conditioning)
• Experience working with clients with specific injuries or certifications in pre/post natal care
• Sales or membership engagement experience
• Social media or brand ambassador experience within fitness

Maintenance:

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to operate hand tools and maintenance equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fitness, hospitality, or commercial facilities environments
• OSHA or workplace safety training/certification
• Experience working with preventative maintenance programs or CMMS systems
• Knowledge of vendor coordination and basic purchasing processes

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
