We're building a passionate team at First Avenue Bar + Cellar and are currently recruiting across multiple positions, including Assistant Venue Manager, Supervisor/Sommelier and Front of House Team Members.

Opportunities Available

Assistant Venue Manager Lead daily venue operations, support team development, drive service standards and contribute to the commercial success of the venue.

Supervisor / Sommelier Deliver exceptional guest experiences while leading service, sharing beverage knowledge and supporting the development of the front of house team.

Front of House Team Members Create memorable experiences through warm, professional service while working across restaurant, bar and cellar operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assistant Venue Manager

• 2+ years' experience in a hospitality leadership role within a restaurant, bar or similar venue.
• Strong operational and commercial skills, including stock control, labour and cost management.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high performing teams.
• Passion for hospitality, guest experience and maintaining compliance standards.

Supervisor / Sommelier

• 2+ years' experience in a supervisory, sommelier or senior front of house role.
• Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge within a premium hospitality environment.
• Confident leading service, developing team members and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Front of House Team Members

• Previous hospitality experience preferred, with a passion for guest service.
• Positive attitude, professional presentation and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced restaurant or bar environment.
• Reliable team player with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Founded in 2020 by Kenneth Wagner, Kpat Hotels is building a portfolio of contemporary accommodation, restaurants, bars and pubs across Queensland.
