About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for a passionate and experienced Multisensory Language/Maths Tutor to join the team. You'll play a vital role, potentially helping students with dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, dyscalculia, or autism develop essential language and mathematics skills.

Your duties would include but not be limited to:

• Design and deliver engaging, multisensory tutoring sessions
• Assess student skill levels and develop individualised learning plans
• Utilise evidence-based teaching methods and learning resources
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate with parents/caregivers
• Collaborate with our team to share best practices and improve our tutoring programs

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and a passionate commitment to providing tailored evidence based teaching practices you'll have/be:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Linguistics, Mathematics or a related field
• Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
• Demonstrated experience in one-on-one or small group tutoring, particularly with students experiencing learning difficulties
• Strong knowledge of language development, literacy instruction and mathematical concepts
• Excellent communication and proficiency in written and spoken English and great interpersonal skills
• Creativity and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles and needs
• Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable using a laptop with email, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Zoom and Internet applications
