Multiskilled Double Days Engineer

Overview

Following expansion, we now have opportunities for 3 dynamic and versatile Multiskilled Engineers to join our maintenance team. The working pattern consists of 8 hour shifts, rotating weeks between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday. This role offers an exciting opportunity for multiskilled professionals to join our Engineering team at the Winsford Site, providing planned preventive maintenance, general maintenance and breakdown cover on a varied range of plastic film producing machinery, ancillary support equipment and general site maintenance.

Duties

• To ensure that all equipment on site is in a safe condition and complies with current legal regulations
• To complete Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed by Engineering Management
• To complete general maintenance work as directed by Engineering Management
• To take part in installation work across site
• To respond to machine faults across site, as directed by the Engineering Management
• To complete breakdown and maintenance records for all work undertaken on site
• To interact with onsite Engineering stores personnel, to include but not be restricted to, booking parts out of stores, assisting in sourcing alternative parts where the original is not available, returning unused parts to stores
• To take part in meetings, supervision, training as requested
• To undertake other duties commensurate to the grade of the post

Experience

• Apprentice, ONC or equivalent Multiskilled Engineering qualification - Essential
• Experience of engineering systems to include planned preventative maintenance - Essential
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment - Essential
• IOSH Managing Safely - Desirable
• Have strong engineering fault finding ability and proven maintenance background
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office
• Have strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills

Pay: £46,700.00 per year
