Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and practical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team at a busy factory in Bridgnorth. The role involves maintaining and repairing plant equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and resolving mechanical and electrical faults. The position offers a competitive salary, a four:on, four:off Day shift pattern, overtime opportunities and access to funded training.

Location: Bridgnorth, West Midlands

Salary: A GBP 50,500 per annum + overtime at time:and:a:half (60K Region)

Job Type: Permanent, Full:Time

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off : Days only

The Role

As a Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault:finding and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical plant equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintaining pumps, conveyors, motors, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Fault:finding on three:phase electrical systems, control circuits, inverters and control panels.
• Supporting general plant and site maintenance activities.
• Ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently.
• Following site health and safety procedures and maintaining high engineering standards.

What Were Looking For

• A strong mechanical maintenance background, including pumps, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with three:phase electrical systems and control circuit fault:finding.
• An NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 18th Edition qualification, or relevant City and Guilds certification.
• Experience working within an industrial or process plant environment.
• At least one year of mechanical maintenance experience.
• A full UK driving licence and your own transport.
• The ability to live within approximately 25 miles of the Bridgnorth site.
• Welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

• A GBP 50,500 annual salary (A GBP 60K with additional hours available)
