About the role

We are seeking a Municipal Engineer to join our team in Cikarang Pusat Jawa Barat on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a critical role in the planning, scheduling, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects. As a Municipal Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that municipal projects are delivered on schedule and within specification. Your work will directly contribute to the successful completion of essential infrastructure that serves communities and supports regional development objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and timelines for municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to planned milestones and delivery dates
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project conditions, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective measures
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and government authorities to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines
• Prepare detailed planning and scheduling reports, including progress updates and forecasts for project completion
• Analyse project data and metrics to optimise resource allocation and improve schedule efficiency
• Manage permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance requirements related to municipal projects
• Identify and mitigate schedule risks and conflicts that could impact project delivery
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve technical and logistical challenges
• Monitor budget implications of scheduling decisions and support cost control initiatives
• Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping of all scheduling activities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in municipal or infrastructure project planning and scheduling
• Proven expertise in project scheduling software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent programmes
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure projects, including water supply, drainage, roads, utilities, and public facilities
• Excellent knowledge of planning methodologies, Critical Path Method (CPM), and schedule risk analysis
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian language, both written and verbal
• Experience working on construction projects in Indonesia or Southeast Asia is highly desirable
• Professional certifications in project management or scheduling are advantageous
