FTE Opportunity: We are hiring a Cloud Architect – Wealth Management (AWS) for a strategic Cloud Architecture, Modernization & AWS Transformation project in the Wealth Management – Banking and Financial Services domain.

Role: Cloud Architect – Wealth Management (AWS)

Experience: 10+ Years in Solution / Cloud Architecture, with 5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Technical Qualification:

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture or Cloud Architecture , particularly within Banking, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
• Deep knowledge of wealth management domains, including Client Onboarding, KYC, Portfolio Management, Trading, Custody, Advisor Platforms, and Client Reporting .
• Hands-on experience designing and modernizing cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
• Strong understanding of APIs, Microservices, Cloud Platforms, Containers, Serverless Computing, and Event-Driven Architecture .
• Experience designing secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, disaster recovery, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and data residency requirements.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, FinOps , performance tuning, and operational excellence.
• Working knowledge of wealth management regulations and compliance requirements, including MiFID II, SEC and FINRA rules, Regulation Best Interest, and GDPR .
• Experience with AI and Generative AI solutions for advisor productivity and client servicing is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification:

Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is preferred.

• Availability as per project requirements.
• Ability to support architecture design, cloud migration, implementation, and modernization activities.
• Willingness to collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, security teams, and compliance functions.
• Ability to provide timely architectural guidance and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Work On:

• Define the target AWS cloud architecture for wealth management platforms, including landing zones, networking, identity management, and security.
• Design and modernize wealth management applications, including client onboarding, portfolio and order management, advisor workbenches, trading platforms, and client reporting systems.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for legacy applications using Microservices, Containers, Serverless Computing, and Event-Driven Architecture .
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient cloud solutions with disaster recovery capabilities aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Drive cloud cost optimization through FinOps practices , performance optimization, and operational excellence.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance to delivery teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Review solution designs, integration approaches, and implementation details to ensure architectural integrity, security, and compliance.
• Support teams in resolving cross-domain integration, performance, scalability, and resiliency challenges.
• Conduct architecture reviews against the AWS Well-Architected Framework and internal security standards.
• Design and implement AWS infrastructure using services such as AWS Organizations, Control Tower, IAM Identity Center, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Route 53 .
• Work with AWS compute and container services, including EC2, EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and Step Functions .
• Leverage AWS data and storage services such as S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation .
• Design integration and event-driven solutions using API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, MSK (Kafka), and AppSync .
• Implement cloud security and compliance controls using KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, AWS Config, CloudTrail, and Macie .
• Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins .
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments using Amazon CloudWatch, Datadog, and related observability tools .
• Explore AWS AI capabilities, including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend, and OpenSearch , to support advisor productivity, document processing, and client servicing use cases.
• Integrate or modernize wealth management platforms with exposure to solutions such as Avaloq, Temenos, Charles River, Broadridge, SS&C, and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud .
• Drive business transformation and operational modernization through secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud adoption.
• Ensure cloud architecture documentation, implementation standards, and operational processes align with enterprise requirements and regulatory expectations.
