About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Murex Senior Datamart Developer

with strong expertise in Murex Datamart architecture, reporting, and data extraction frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing Datamart solutions that support risk management, regulatory reporting, finance, and front-office business functions for a leading financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Murex Datamart reporting and data extraction solutions.

Configure and enhance Datamart reports, batches, and extraction processes within the Murex platform.

Develop and optimize data models, reports, and interfaces to support business and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with business analysts, risk teams, finance users, and front-office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Analyze and troubleshoot Datamart performance, data integrity, and reporting issues.

Support end-to-end testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and production releases.

Participate in Murex platform upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects.

Ensure adherence to development best practices, governance standards, and operational controls.

Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with

Murex MX.3

, particularly within the

Datamart module

.

Proven experience in developing and supporting Datamart reports, extraction scripts, and reporting solutions.

Strong understanding of Murex Datamart architecture, data models, feeders, and reporting workflows.

Proficiency in

SQL

and relational databases, preferably Oracle.

Experience working in

Unix/Linux

environments and scripting.

Good understanding of Capital Markets products, including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives.

Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing Datamart processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced banking and financial services environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Prior experience in banking or financial services organizations.

Experience with Murex implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.

Exposure to other Murex modules such as Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, or Collateral Management.

Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and enterprise reporting frameworks.

Familiarity with regulatory reporting and risk management reporting requirements.
