Murex Developer

Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field .
• Professional experience in software development and coding .
• Experience with Murex , particularly Datamart, MSL and Exchange MXML .
• Strong experience with Shell scripting .
• Strong SQL skills, particularly with Oracle databases — differential .
• Experience with PL/SQL .
• Experience with XSLT, XSL, XML and HTML .
• Experience with SOAP .
• Experience with Python .
• Experience with Git and version control practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical progress clearly and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Availability to work in a hybrid regime, 2 days per week from the Lisbon office .

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions within the Murex Regulatory IT environment.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance activities on Murex-based applications.
• Develop and implement solutions for prioritized tasks and projects in collaboration with the wider team.
• Work with Murex Datamart, MSL and Exchange MXML as part of development and maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts and database-related solutions using SQL / Oracle and PL/SQL .
• Work with XSLT, XSL, XML, HTML and SOAP for application development and integration activities.
• Develop automation and supporting tools using Python where required.
• Ensure the quality, reliability and maintainability of delivered solutions.
• Design and implement test automation required to ensure the correct functioning of applications.
• Regularly communicate the status and progress of assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Collaborate with other team members within an Agile development methodology .
• Share technical knowledge and best practices with other members of the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools and testing practices .
• Use Git for source code management and version control.
