Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the test automation and regression testing team for Murex MX.3 implementation projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities for Murex releases, including patch releases, LR releases, and binary upgrades.
• Manage testing for Murex binary upgrades, including version upgrades from 3.1 to 3.9, 3.6 to 3.42, and 3.3 to 3.48, as applicable.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test packages using ONYX for Murex core functional modules.
• Develop reconciliation test packages to validate reports and outbound messages.
• Perform and oversee system testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and release validation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using QTP/HP UFT, including descriptive programming, library functions, and reusable functions for Murex and non-Murex applications.
• Define the test automation approach, prepare estimates, design the automation framework, analyse test requirements, and implement automation scripts.
• Ensure test coverage, execution quality, defect identification, and timely resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Apply financial domain knowledge to validate Murex functionality and ensure test scenarios meet business requirements.
• Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle standards.
• Monitor testing progress, manage risks and issues, and provide regular status reports to management.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate automation implementation and test execution.
• Support release readiness assessments and provide testing sign-off recommendations based on execution results.

Skills

Must have

• 20 Years of Professional experience in Software Testing.
• 14+ years of Experience on Murex Application.
• 10+ years of experience with Onyx MxTest automation tool.
• 19 + years of experience in Automation Testing.
• 6+ years of experience with QTP /UFT Test automation tool.
• Lead and Managed Test Automation & Regression Team for the MX.3 Implementation
• Experience with Binary upgrades from .31 to .39 and .36 to .42, .33 to .48
• Lead and Managed the test executions for Various releases (Patch releases,LR releases, Binary Upgrade )
• Good financial domain knowledge.
• Built Test Automation Test Packages in ONYX for Murex Core Functional Modules
• Built Reconciliation Test Packages for Reports and Out bound messages.
• Experience in System Testing and Smoke Testing
• Well acquainted with the SDLC & Testing Life Cycle.
• Experience in writing scripts in Descriptive Programming, Library functions, Reusable Functions in QTP, HP UFT for Murex and Non-Murex projects.
• Experience in Test Automation Cycles such as Test Approach, Estimation, Automation
• framework, Analysis & Design and implementation of automation scripts.
• Experience in Leading the team and providing status reports to the Management.
• Interacted with various stake holders for Automation Implementations and Executions.
