Museum Associate (Dumaguete)

The position is primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the assigned museum property to ensure safe, orderly, and engaging experience for visitors. The position is also responsible for providing visitor assistance and guided tours, facilitating sales and basic transactions, and maintaining operational, sales, and financial records and reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs the daily operations activities of the assigned museum.

2. Welcomes, assists, and provides information to visitors, ensuring a positive and orderly visitor experience.

3. Conducts guided museum tours and explains relevant exhibits, collections, and museum information to visitors.

4. Monitors visitor flow and ensure that museum rules, safety protocols, and service standards are observed.

5. Facilitates sale transaction of museum merchandise, tickets, or other applicable products and services, including processing and recording transactions.

Education: Graduate of any four (4) year course preferably Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Property Management, Operations Management, Tourism Management, or any related field.

Experience: At least one (1) year of work-related experience in operations management and hospitality in museum/cultural institution or a similar service-oriented environment.

Willing to assigned in Dumaguete Negros Oriental.
