Museum Attendant (1-Year Contract)

Dib Bangkok is seeking a passionate, service-oriented individual to join our team as a Museum Attendant. In this role, you will warmly welcome local and international visitors to the museum and protect the artworks on view. You will share consistent information about the museum collection, mission, and programs, learned through intensive training with the building facilities and Curatorial teams.

What you'll be doing:

• Welcome and engage local and international visitors with warmth and professionalism
• Support meaningful, respectful interactions with artworks and maintain a calm environment
• Share information about Dib’s mission, collections, and programs (training provided)
• Assist with ticketing and visitor registration
• Monitor galleries to ensure the safety of visitors, artwork, and museum property
• Collaborate with team members and partners
• Participate in training and development activities
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appearance standards
• Handle issues promptly and escalate when needed

What we're looking for:

• Strong communication and customer service skills; comfortable with diverse audiences
• Attentive, observant, and able to stay alert for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
• Quick learner with interest in art and visitor experience
• Flexible schedule (weekends, mornings, evenings as needed)
• Able to stand and move throughout shifts
• Fluent in Thai with good spoken English (additional Asian languages a plus)
• Experience in hospitality, museums, or cultural fields is a plus
