Music Love Academy | $45–$60 per hour

Overview

Music Love Academy is seeking enthusiastic music instructors and early childhood music educators to join our teaching team. We welcome applicants who specialize in one or more of the areas listed above—you do not need to teach every instrument.

Help students discover the joy of music through private lessons, group classes, and early childhood music experiences. We serve babies, children, teens, and adults, including neurodivergent learners, in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Duties

• Teach private or group lessons in your instrument or vocal specialty.
• Create engaging lesson plans suited to each student’s age, experience, interests, and goals.
• Build musical skills through technique, rhythm, listening, music theory, and creative exploration.
• For early childhood teaching roles, lead age-appropriate activities using songs, movement, musical play, and introductory instruments.
• Adapt instruction to support different learning styles and needs, including those of neurodivergent students.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with clear expectations, patience, and encouragement.
• Track student progress and communicate constructively with students and families.
• Help students prepare for recitals and other performance opportunities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to support a welcoming music community.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong musical proficiency in one or more advertised teaching areas.
• Experience teaching music or leading early childhood music activities.
• Ability to explain musical concepts clearly and make lessons engaging.
• Patience, creativity, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to develop lessons for beginners and more experienced students within your specialty.
• For early childhood roles, an understanding of child development and experience working with young children.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent learners or adapting instruction to individual needs is welcome.
