Hanway Music in Markham and Richmond Hill is now hiring part time teachers for candidates who can teach

• Piano / Guitar / Drum
• Flute / Clarinet / Saxophone
• Violin / Viola / Cello
• Vocal

*Any candidates who are able to teach two or more instruments will be considered first.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate teaching duties

• Update parents with their child's weekly progressions

• Ensure professional conduct at all times

• Ensure punctuality and attendance with responsibility

Applicants must:

• For your PRIMARY INSTRUMENT, you must be able to teach at an ADVANCED LEVEL (RCM level 8 or above is sufficient)

- For your SECONDARY INSTRUMENT, you may be able to teach at an BEGINNER LEVEL (RCM level 2 or above is sufficient)

(University or College students currently in a music degree are welcomed. Currently we are not accepting secondary school students. )

• Have 1 or more year(s) of teaching experience or working with kids & adolescents aged 4 and above

• Residing in Toronto for long term

• This job opening is only for candidates who are willing to travel to Markham and Richmond Hill

- At this time, we are only looking to hire candidates who are enrolled or graduated from a post-secondary institution.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
