Music Teacher

NJV School Management Board is seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Music Teacher to join its academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing students’ musical abilities through engaging, structured, and age-appropriate instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons appropriate to students’ age and skill levels.
• Teach fundamental concepts of music theory, rhythm, melody, vocal techniques, and musical expression.
• Provide practical instruction in singing and musical instruments, as appropriate.
• Prepare students for school events, performances, assemblies, and competitions.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, and appreciation for music.
• Organize and maintain music-related learning materials and instruments.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
• Collaborate with coordinators and other teachers for school events and interdisciplinary activities.
• Participate in meetings, professional development sessions, and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Fine Arts, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, vocal training, and/or musical instruments.
• Ability to engage students through creative and practical teaching methods.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for music education and student development.
