Music Teacher

Bold Music is looking to hire a part time Music Instructor. It's our busiest time of the year so we're looking for someone who is eager to accept many students quickly! We are looking for someone who has AT LEAST two weekdays (roughly from 3:00-7-00) to commit to Bold. Students can be accepted close to your home area or a day can be built around students in a different town to make sure your commute is worthwhile. The majority of our students are ages 6-13, have lessons after school, and take piano, guitar, or voice lessons. Lessons will take place in the student's home. Lessons are held at the same time each week based on a time you have to offer. We don’t have a set curriculum but expect you to find a common ground between what you excel at and what is best for the student and their family. Professionalism and prompt responses are expected when having conversations with students' families and responding to the management team. Communication and friendliness are also encouraged - we’re excited to be the best part of your working week!

Requirements

• Ability to drive to a students house for lessons (around 30 mins)
• Previous teaching experience is welcome (not required)
• Music degree welcome (not required)
• Ability to communicate quickly with management team
• Must be able to communicate effectively with students, manage calendar effectively, and complete attendance responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Must pass a background check, reference check and detailed music knowledge assessment.
