Mutual Fund Manager

We are looking for a Mutual Fund Manager / Fund Manager to manage and monitor investment portfolios in line with scheme objectives, investment mandates, benchmarks, and regulatory guidelines. The role requires strong expertise in portfolio management, equity/fixed-income research, valuation, risk management, and market analysis.

The ideal candidate should have experience in fund management, equity research, fixed income, or institutional investments and a strong understanding of SEBI and AMFI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and construct investment portfolios based on scheme objectives, benchmark, and investment strategy.
• Conduct detailed fundamental and financial analysis of companies, sectors, and investment opportunities.
• Develop investment strategies based on macroeconomic trends, market conditions, sector outlook, and valuations.
• Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, diversification, and risk exposure.
• Track key market indicators including RBI policies, inflation, GDP, FII/DII flows, and global market trends.
• Use financial modelling and valuation techniques such as DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA, and other relevant methodologies.
• Monitor market, credit, liquidity, duration, and concentration risks.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI mutual fund regulations, scheme mandates, investment limits, and internal risk frameworks.
• Monitor NAV performance and benchmark deviation and provide performance attribution.
• Prepare regular fund performance reports, investment updates, factsheets, and management presentations.
• Participate in Investment Committee meetings and present investment recommendations and market views.
• Coordinate with research teams, distributors, institutional clients, and other stakeholders as required.
• Maintain adequate portfolio liquidity and ensure timely portfolio disclosures.
• Contribute to generating consistent risk-adjusted returns and long-term portfolio performance.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of portfolio management and investment analysis.

Eligibility & Certifications

• Qualification: MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Experience: 2 - 5 years in Fund Management, Equity Research, Fixed Income, PMS, AMC, or Institutional Investment firms.
• Experience managing or monitoring AUM of 50 Cr or above will be preferred.
• Experience across equity and debt fund management will be an added advantage.
• NISM Series V-A Mutual Fund Distributors Certification preferred/required as applicable to the role.
• Candidates with relevant AMFI/SEBI regulatory knowledge will be preferred.
