Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering MySQL databases in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL architecture, storage engines, indexing, transactions, and replication.
- Experience with MySQL backup and recovery tools and strategies.
- Strong SQL skills and experience troubleshooting complex queries.
- Experience with performance monitoring and database tuning.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Experience managing database security, users, privileges, and access controls.
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
