NAC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implementation:

• Design and deploy NAC solutions to control access to the network based on security policies.
• Configure NAC systems to authenticate and authorize devices and users accessing the network.
• Integrate NAC solutions with existing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.

2. Policy Development and Management:

• Develop and maintain NAC policies to enforce security requirements and compliance.
• Work with IT and security teams to ensure policies align with organizational objectives.

3. Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor NAC systems to detect and respond to unauthorized access attempts.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to NAC systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve NAC-related issues, working with vendors as necessary.

4. Security Compliance:

• Ensure NAC systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Document NAC configurations, policies, and procedures.

• Generate reports on NAC activities, incidents, and performance for management review.

• Education: B.Tech/BE

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security or related roles.
• Proven experience with NAC solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Fortinet FortiNAC).

Skills:

• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing NAC systems.
• Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
