Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail extensions with precision and creativity
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement clients’ skin tones and preferences
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care, and ensure a satisfying experience
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty treatments to enhance client results and increase sales
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized salon environment that promotes safety and hygiene at all times

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
• Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, and disinfection procedures essential for client safety
• Skilled in various nail techniques including gel manicures, acrylic application, nail extensions, and pedicures
• Familiarity with color theory to create visually appealing designs tailored to individual clients
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation, understanding preferences, and providing personalized recommendations
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while delivering outstanding customer service
• Certification in cosmetology or related field preferred; ongoing education in new techniques such as eyelash extensions or body waxing is a plus
