Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, acrylic nails, and nail extensions with precision and care
• Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that match client preferences and current trends
• Conduct esthetic treatments including dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and laser treatments when qualified
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper disinfection of tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience
• Upsell retail products like nail care items or skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to continually elevate service quality

Skills

• Strong understanding of color theory, nail care techniques, and the application of nail extensions such as acrylics or gel enhancements
• Proficiency in performing manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, and other esthetic treatments with attention to detail
• Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and overall hygiene practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Experience working in the beauty industry with a solid background in cosmetology or esthetic services
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Competence in retail math for managing sales transactions confidently
