We are seeking a talented and energetic Nail Technician to join our dynamic beauty team! Duties

• Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
• Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Consult with clients to recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on their preferences and skin tone, applying knowledge of color theory
• Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative services
• Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of workstations and sterilization of tools in compliance with health regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by building rapport, listening attentively, and addressing client needs promptly

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safety protocols
• Skilled in various nail care techniques including gel application, acrylics, dip powders, and intricate nail art designs
• Familiarity with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering is a plus but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients on nail care routines and product benefits
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively using retail math skills to increase sales opportunities
• Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting complementary shades for their skin tone and style preferences
