10-7 Monday thru Wednesday

10-8 Thursday thru saturday

11 to 6 Sunday

We are looking for full-time or part time (part-time being few of the "all day" shift or afternoon shifts. We are NOT hiring part time seeking for morning shifts only).

We are located cross the street from the SMU campus and middle of Highland Park/ParkCity neighborhood!

We are seeking a talented and energetic Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services that leave clients feeling pampered, confident, and beautiful. Your expertise in nail artistry, combined with your passion for customer service, will create a welcoming environment where clients can indulge in luxurious treatments. As a Nail Technician, you will play a key role in enhancing our salon’s reputation for excellence and innovation. Duties

• Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments, including gel manicures and nail extensions, ensuring high standards of quality and sanitation.
• Apply gel x, builder gel, regular polish with precision, utilizing advanced techniques for durable and beautiful results.
• Use color theory knowledge to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by disinfecting tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to disinfection procedures to ensure client safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide personalized recommendations, and upsell retail products like nail care essentials or hair extensions.
• Assist with retail sales by promoting products that support nail health and overall beauty routines.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques, and industry standards to continually elevate service quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and an inviting salon atmosphere.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail artistry.
• Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and client communication skills.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their individual needs.

Pay: $16.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 45.0 per week
